LIGHT FM
The Ultralite 2000 FM radio (shown here in actual size) lodges comfortably in one ear, leaving your other ear safely open. That way you can listen discreetly to Brahms's Second Piano Concerto while you jog and still hear the motorized street sweeper gaining on you from behind. Made by American Technology of Poway, California, the world's smallest FM radio weighs less than a quarter of an ounce and is just a quarter-inch thick. At $24.95, it's currently sold only on the QVC cable shopping channel and through a limited number of retail outlets and catalogues. But look for it soon at a mass merchandiser near you.
