Flashback (Norris, $250).

The tapeless voice recorder crams 30 minutes of recording time onto memory chips instead of the few minutes on other solid-state recorders. The palm-size, battery-powered device has a built-in mike and 30-minute SoundClip memory. New recordings can be inserted without wiping out old ones. A one-hour clip is due later this year; a two-hour clip in early '95.
